From my primary character, basically everything I do to customise my overview, chat channel settings, window positions and neocom buttons. Oh and browser bookmarks. I keep having to reinstall so have done this quite a bit and end up losing those. Probably all mentioned before but just in case:
- Turn off the tutorial (on every single character argh)
- Chat windows - show timestamp/reset chat character size/remove character portraits and position them. I'm not too concerned about which channels I'm in as most characters are different - but I do always split local/intel from the main chat window
- Neocom buttons - delete the ones I hardly use and add those I frequently use/move about, then position and resize those windows on opening
- Customising various necocom settings - turning off wallet flashes, highlighting partial skills on character sheet, sorting book mark locations in p&p by range, fiddling with mail notifications, setting contracts to show more detail on searches & sorting them by price, changing buy & sell orders to sort prices and highlight my orders, setting fleet finder to show all and configuring the broadcasts
- Import overview settings from file - this is fine at the moment
- Reposition targets & tweak hud settings - turn off that annoying camera pan & safety, reset warning notifications
Although we don't have it, someone mentioned shared contact settings - would be awesome to have

Something like the export / import overview would be fine, with a variety of tick boxes so you can customise a master template. Or just set it per client. Not fussed as long as it works.

The xml files used for overview settings work well for sharing, although a browser based link sounds useful. If there was an out of game, browser based option to create customised settings that mimic being logged in it'd be handy.
Please let us know if this is still being looked at, a fix would be great. Just downloaded Garpa tho, cheers Lucas.
